Ubuntu Mobile è una delle varianti più promettenti della distro sviluppata da Canonical.Girerà su diversi device, dagli Intel Mid ai tablet pc e forse su molti altri dispositivi.L'idea di approfondire la versione Mobile di Ubuntu è legata al tutorial di IBM, che in una ventina di pagine traccia gli aspetti salienti di questo framework, che ha iniziato ad essere incapsulato nella Gusty Gibbon e che sarà già pronto con la prossima versione di Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron.
