Rilasciato Ubiquity 0.1, il nuovo rivoluzionario progetto dei Mozilla Labs Ubiquity è una nuovo interessante strumento sviluppato dai Mozilla Labs. Si tratta di un estensione per Firefox che permette di compiere tantissime operazione da una specie di riga di comando. Quando ne ho sentito parlare per la prima volta, ho pensato che si trattasse di un’applicazione simpatica tipo Goosh, ma niente di più. Beh, mi sbagliavo. Ubiquity è un prodotto molto evoluto in grado di rivoluzionare i metodi di interazione tra noi e il nostro web browser. Potete scaricarlo da qui ed installarlo come una comune estensione di Firefox.

Symbaloo is a new interactive web portal which allows you to directly manage many everyday tasks directly on the web. As soon as you register yourself on Symbaloo you are able to freely modify your personalized Symbaloo, adding new features or deleting the default ones. Symbaloo is an interactive grid with 60 different squares (each of them hosts a different feature) and a central rectangle where some of your features can directly be visualized. Symbaloo is very flexible and allows you to deeply personalized itself. During our test we did not find any bugs and we were able to insert the 95% of the the features we planned to create there. Moreover, clicking on the plus (+) button on the upper left corner you can create a Symbaloo news page or share a new Symbaloo public page with your friends. Just to know, Symbaloo is available in The Netherlands, Spain, France, the UK and the US in beta. To sum up, it is possible to affirm that at the end of a three days test we do think that Symbaloo can really contribute to reduce time wasted on routine internet tasks. Something to try!

Un problema legato al funzionamento degli inviti consentirebbe, a chiunque in possesso di un account google, di scoprire, semplicemente utilizzando il comando back, il vero nome degli utenti selezionati

Adesso anche Sunbird supporta le estensioni per Firefox e Thunderbird

Sunbird, il calendario di applicazione di Mozilla, supporta anche adesso le estensioni di Firefox e Thunderbird.Meteo + mondo è una grande estensione che afferra dati meteo dal Weather Channel. Esso visualizza le attuali condizioni sul lato sinistro di Sunbir.Compleanno Download Manager e un'altra estensione per non dimenticare i prossimi compleanni. Una volta che l'add-on è installato, andare su Strumenti e selezionare il Compleanno dirigente della discesa. Selezionare Nuovo compleanno, e immettere il nome e la data. FoxClock invece è una estensione che consente di visualizzare nella barra di navigazione un orologio in qualsiasi fuso orario.

“Remember the Milk” can be installed on Google Calendar, Gmail, Iphone/Ipod Touch, Twitter and there is also a “Milk Sync” version for Windows Mobile. In my opinion, the best feature is represented by the integrated to-do list for Google Calendar. Anyway, “Remember the Milk”, is easy to manage and very simple to use and share with your team. Moreover, this particular task manager contains many interesting and useful features; just for example you can add an active link to a web-page directly in your to-do note. If you prefer, you can also organize your tasks in a -tag cloud- style. Last but not least, it is possible to receive reminders via email, SMS, and instant messenger (AIM, Gadu-Gadu, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, Skype and Yahoo! are supported). As you can imagine, “Remember the Milk” portability is very wide and it has 100% passed all our tests; in few words: we have not found any bugs! Recommended!
