Ex Falso: the best audio file metadata editor for Linux!

Ex Falso is a very useful software which allows you to manage your mp3 collections with just few clicks. When saving my CDs on my hard disk, I convert them into mp3 files and then I change their metadata order (or simply I add some more information) using Ex Falso. This software is very simple to install (in Ubuntu, for example, you can add it directly from the "Add/Remove" function contained in the Application menu) and very easy to use. Ex Falso is graphically divided in three main areas: Folders, Songs and a menu area where you directly decide what and how to change your metadatas. After few tests you will able to rapidly use Ex Falso and (we hope) enjoy all its features. Strongly recommended for all that people who have big mp3 collections!

“Remember the milk”: the best on-line Task Manager for Calendar, Gmail, Iphone…

“Remember the Milk” can be installed on Google Calendar, Gmail, Iphone/Ipod Touch, Twitter and there is
also a “Milk Sync” version for Windows Mobile. In my opinion, the best
feature is represented by the integrated to-do list for Google
Calendar. Anyway, “Remember the Milk”, is easy to manage and very
simple to use and share with your team. Moreover, this particular task
manager contains many interesting and useful features;
just for example you can add an active link to a web-page directly in
your to-do note. If you prefer, you can also organize your tasks in a
-tag cloud- style. Last but not least, it is possible to receive
reminders via email, SMS, and instant messenger (AIM, Gadu-Gadu, Google
Talk, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, Skype and Yahoo! are supported). As you can
imagine, “Remember the Milk” portability is very wide and it has 100% passed all our tests; in few words: we have not found any bugs! Recommended!

Small Damn Linux 4.2.5: the new updated version!

Damn Small Linux 4.2.5 is one of our favourite distribution due to its
capability to run on very old PC as 386/486/Pentium with very few
hardware resources. This version has updated some features as Monkey
Webserver 0.9.2 and is incredibly stable (as the previous ones, I must
say). According to distrowatch.com,
in the last 12 months Damn Small Linux has been the 10th most
downloaded (and consequently used) Linux version also because, with no
costs, many people are converting old Windows based machines to new
up-to-date computers. Anyway, Damn Small Linux is based on Knoppix but
is smaller and contains many improvements. Last but not least, I would
like to focus your attention on the five different subversions
available:
- dsl.iso is the standard isolinux version
- slinux.iso uses syslinux instead of isolinux (for very old PC’s)
- vmx.zip can be run in VMware Player
- embedded.zip contains QUEMU for running inside Windows
- frugal_lite.sh is the network install script and requires tomsrtbt linux: ....
